Don Brash and Rodney Hide Far Right Extremists
It`s odd how the NZ economy bubbles along nicely with a Labour Govt, then suddenly as a National led govt comes to power there`s all urgency and deficits everywhere, cutbacks here slashes there, and as usual with the National govt it`s the poor and needy who will suffer. If you can remember back to the 1990s when the Bolger National govt came to power exactly the same thing happened with the benefit cuts and slashing of services.
The main instigators of these savage cuts are men the likes of Don Brash and Rodney Hide who are both hard right wing nats, what we have to remember is that the National party has always been in favour with big business, which makes a perfect nesting place for unscrupulous business men like Hide and Brash.
The sad thing is that all the good a Labour govt produces can be turned around in a New York Minute by these nat heros who do not care for the ordinary people one iota, you just have to look at the poor underclass produced by the Shipley/Bolger National govt of the 1990s, they also deregulated the building industry and homeowners now have an 11.5 billion dollar debt to pay, not to mention the shoddy building practices as a result with all the leaking homes.
Don Brash`s 2025 Taskforce financial report released 30 Nov 2009 makes recommendations aimed at bridging the income gap between Australia and NZ by 2025, and has the full backing of the Act Party Leader Rodney Hide. Recommendations include across the board social services cutbacks including lowering of the minimum wage back to pre 1990s level and raising the age of entitlement to the pension, Selling off all core assets etc.
If Mr John Key (PM) acts on any of the above recommendations which would plunge New Zealand into the third world would surely be political suicide at the next elections in 2011.
